A Note About IAAOM Practitioners –
We Are THE Acupuncture Specialists In Indiana:
All members of the IAAOM are Nationally Certified to become Acupuncturist in Indiana that have completed a multiple years of graduate level training in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Education in this field comes from colleges that are accredited by a national commission (NCCAOM). The educational standard set by this commission requires thousands of hours of training in acupuncture and of hours of clinical training.
After earning degrees the National Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) requires board exams to show proof of competency. With this accreditation the Indiana Medical Board grants approval of licensure to practice Acupuncture within the state.
In medicine it is considered standard practice to go to a specialist for specific conditions or treatments. IAAOM members are all certified by the NCCAOM are considered specialists in the field of acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
